YIT Corporation has received a return of 2,208 shares free of consideration according to the terms and conditions of YIT's share-based incentive scheme. Originally the shares were conveyed to YIT's key persons in connection with the reward payment from the 2011 and 2012 earning periods under the share-based incentive scheme for 2010-2016.

YIT has signed an agreement to buy the entire share capital of the Lauttasaari mall located in Lauttasaari, Helsinki. The existing mall, completed in 1970, will be demolished and replaced by a hybrid complex consisting of a shopping centre and three blocks of flats on top of the shopping centre. The complex will also include an underground parking facility.

YIT has started the third and the final phase of the Smolny prospekt apartment complex in the historic centre of St. Petersburg. Comprising a total floor area of nearly 19,000 square metres, the third phase consists of approximately 150 apartments ranging in size from studio apartments to five-room homes.

YIT has begun the construction of a new 14-storey apartment building in the city of Ramenskoye in the Moscow Region. The selling of the apartments began at the same time.

YIT´s Board of Directors has on February 5, 2014 approved an updated disclosure policy for YIT Corporation. The most essential change concerns the publishing of significant projects or investor deals.

The shareholders of YIT Corporation are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting to be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, starting at 10:00 a.m. (Finnish time GMT+2) in Finlandia Hall, Conference Wing, Hall A, located at the address Mannerheimintie 13, Helsinki (entrance through doors M1 and K1).

Except where otherwise noted, the explanatory statement of the financial statements describes the construction business, i.e. the continuing operations after the partial demerger. The demerger of Caverion Corporation from YIT was registered on June 30, 2013.

YIT´s Board of Directors has approved the revised strategic targets for the strategy period 2014-2016. The motivation for the change stems from the current market environment, and the main objective is to secure that the cash flow and return on investment targets are achieved.

YIT has been awarded the contract to upgrade Ring Road III between the Lahdenväylä and Porvoonväylä motorways, based on the competitive tendering procedure organised by the Finnish Transport Agency. The total value of the contract is approximately EUR 42 million. Work will commence in January-February 2014 and it is estimated to be completed in 2016.

The agreements between YIT, Senate Properties, the City of Helsinki, Finland, and the Finnish Transport Agency were signed today.

YIT Construction Ltd and Julius Tallberg-Kiinteistöt have concluded a contract for the construction of the Suomalaistentie Retail Centre at Suomalaistentie 5 in Espoo's Suomenoja. YIT and Tallberg-Kiinteistöt have been developing the project in close cooperation. In addition to construction, YIT will be responsible for the concept planning and renting of the property.
