The Avia Line 3 office building located in Vantaa's Aviapolis has been awarded LEED Platinum environmental certification. This is YIT's first LEED Platinum certification. There are only about ten properties in all of Finland that have been awarded LEED Platinum certification.

The Board of Directors of YIT Corporation decided on March 18, 2014, to launch a new share-based incentive scheme for key persons, comprising three earnings periods.

YIT Corporation has received a return of 2,208 shares free of consideration according to the terms and conditions of YIT's share-based incentive scheme. Originally the shares were conveyed to YIT's key persons in connection with the reward payment from the 2011 and 2012 earning periods under the share-based incentive scheme for 2010-2016.

YIT has signed an agreement to buy the entire share capital of the Lauttasaari mall located in Lauttasaari, Helsinki. The existing mall, completed in 1970, will be demolished and replaced by a hybrid complex consisting of a shopping centre and three blocks of flats on top of the shopping centre. The complex will also include an underground parking facility.

YIT has started the third and the final phase of the Smolny prospekt apartment complex in the historic centre of St. Petersburg. Comprising a total floor area of nearly 19,000 square metres, the third phase consists of approximately 150 apartments ranging in size from studio apartments to five-room homes.

YIT has begun the construction of a new 14-storey apartment building in the city of Ramenskoye in the Moscow Region. The selling of the apartments began at the same time.

YIT´s Board of Directors has on February 5, 2014 approved an updated disclosure policy for YIT Corporation. The most essential change concerns the publishing of significant projects or investor deals.
